EFT is: Emotional Freedom Techniques, also called Meridian Tapping
Simply put, it is a self administered acupressure technique that allows the body’s energy system to correct itself and facilitate healing and emotional well-being.
Why Meridian Tapping?
We are vibrational beings operating on different frequencies at different times, just like radio or television stations. Our thoughts change the station.
Joy and happiness = faster, lighter energy
Sadness and stress = slower, heavier vibrational energy
However, only 5 percent of how you live your life is coming from your conscious mind, the other 95 percent is coming from your subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind includes *programs* running that were installed when you were a small child, programs from your parents, your siblings, your friends, TV, movies, commercials and God knows where else. So when you try to *consciously* move your life in a positive direction with positive thoughts and affirmations, your subconscious mind, still playing the old programs, rejects them and they are ineffective.
All the visualization, all the mantras and all the prayers in the world will have a very difficult time causing the changes you wish to achieve if you don’t first address the negative energies, the negative thought forms, that run your life.
Meridian Tapping (EFT) is a very easy solution to releasing these negative thought forms. The healing concepts that it's based upon have been in practice in Eastern medicine for over 5,000 years. Like acupuncture and acupressure, Meridian Tapping consists of a set of techniques that utilize the body's energy meridians.
Tapping uses energy science and allows us to open up our blocked energy meridians, get the energy moving again and release the fear and stress of any situation. It is a wonderful companion to Hypnosis. The meridians that Tapping utilizes are real, traceable energy avenues in our body. They can be seen with scientific instruments.
A thought form can get trapped in our energy meridians and keep repeating just like a record skipping, or a recording playing on a loop.
Often it is a powerful emotional upset, accident or incident that will cause these controlling emotions to get trapped.
Meridian Tapping acknowledges the emotion and moves it through the meridians so that it can be released. You are no longer suppressing the emotional energy; you are honoring it and releasing it.
Just What is Hypnosis?

We are hit with literally billions of bits of information each day. Our conscious mind cannot process that much information at one time without shutting down or going crazy. It is our subconscious mind that absorbs all the information. And it is the RAS at the base of our brain stem that is the *Gatekeeper* that decides which bits of information are allowed to go from the subconscious into our conscious mind.
Hypnosis quiets the conscious mind and moves the subconscious mind into a state of acute awareness and focused attention by relaxing the body and bringing the mind into an alpha state of consciousness. In this state of relaxed concentration positive suggestions that will help you achieve your goals can be easily accepted and allowed past the *gatekeeper* and into your consciousness where they become a part of your reality. Hypnosis removes the blocks and obstacles and allows physical and emotional symptoms to improve and disappear.
